Glam Media is not content as the newly ordained "top online destination for women" - a position the network usurped from iVillage during the summer. To further propel the network's dominance, Glam has partnered with the matriarch of female-centric cable programming, Lifetime Networks.

The partnership primarily surrounds expansion of content using Glam's new Managed Vertical Network platform, described as the following:

The Glam MVN platform offers media companies the necessary infrastructure and tool set to create a successful vertical network. With the Glam MVN, media companies can easily recruit publishers, manage inventory, set pricing, serve and optimize campaigns, support multiple billing systems, and offer both publisher and advertisers a wide range of reports and technical support.

Glam will initially leverage their aggregated blogs and articles to power a "Beauty & Style" channel on the Lifetime website; Conversely, Lifetime will lend broadband video, interactive media, and future original content to enhance Glam's offerings. A culmination of the partnership will appear via myLifetime - a recently relaunched portal already suggestive of the niche verticals envisioned by the two companies.
