KickApps is releasing a single sign-on module for use with Drupal-powered sites and KickApps hosted social media sites. This comes very soon after KickApps announced single sign-on integration for a couple of other services--Wordpress and Joomla.

It's building up its repertoire, which lets you (if you run an online community) give your end users easier options for accessing their integrated media services. KickApps has gone after three widely used platforms, growing its own reach by auto-registering your users when they sign up (no internal user import for you), and creating a much more seamless interaction between those KickApps components that have been added to your platform after the fact.

[img src="" caption="" credit="" alt=""]The strategy for a continuous interoperability across these popular platforms is a good one, and should improve KickApps and the way in which it's used by developers. The Drupal module supports versions 6.x, 5.3 and 4.7. Drupal's content-management service recently rolled out its own tools for creating Facebook applications, giving you integrated support in a different manner for an existing community.
