The first ever Open Web Awards live networking event and ceremony is this Thursday. I'd like to take this opportunity to update our readers and all attendees of the 350+ person event. We have reached max capacity, and will only let you in if you beg (contact me for event inquiries).
The live event will be held at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, California on Thursday, January 10th from 7:00 – 10:00 PM. The 3 hour event will be a swank networking affair with music (Chuck Dogg), food, alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages. We will also be presenting awards to the 26 winners of the Open Web Awards for the 13 categories, one “People’s Choice” and one “Judge’s Choice” from each category.
Before the Awards Ceremony, the Mashable Team will be conducting video interviews for posting on Mashable - anyone is welcome to be interviewed. Further promotional services for the startups and companies in attendance will be announced in the coming days. In other words: practice your 2 minute pitch!
