Plaxo Pulse Adds Integration with Mac Address Book

Hoping to catch a little bit of Macworld buzz, Plaxo is announcing a new version of Pulse for your Mac Address Book. If this story sounds familiar, it's because Plaxo launched the Pulse toolbar integration for Microsoft Outlook just last month.

The hope is to make your life easier, more "synergized," and easier to access, when it comes to your contacts and the swirl of activity that goes on around each and every one of them. Acting as a bridge between your Mac Address Book and the buddies you have in your Plaxo account, the purpose is to bring you updated information about your address book contacts when you need it (that is, as you type an email to them).

With Plaxo also reportedly looking to sell the company, it makes sense that they are trying to become a compatible sync tool for as many popular services as possible (not to mention Plaxo's involvement with data portability).
