We get a lot of emails for promotional programs that work with bands and artists across the country, and few of them are particularly worth mentioning. One came in today for LouisXIV, a band that's looking to get fans more involved in its promotional efforts. In teaming up with FotoFlexer, LouisXIV is letting fans put their own touch on the band's album cover--their faces. Try it here.
You can replace one or both of the faces on the band's album cover, and it's surprisingly customizable in the sense where you can enlarge or shrink the image, move it left, right, up or down, and rotate it so that it can fit perfectly in the face hole that's been cut out for your uploaded image. Photos can be uploaded or imported by their URL. MySpace users that take advantage of this fun little feature will be added to LouisXIV's top friends on MySpace.
