TwitPic lets you add images to your Twitter stream. There are several services that have either launched similar features within their own websites, or have latched onto the Twitter economy in order to do so, leaving me little commentary in regards to the actual TwitPic tool. However, there is a bit of commentary that I can bring up that relates to this growing Twitter economy.

You may recall another image tool that lets you send photos to your Twitter stream, called VisualTwitter. The difference between VisualTwitter and TwitPic is that VisualTwitter works with your mobile phone, and TwitPic works with your computer. Which one is better depends on your needs, but wouldn't it be handy to have both options centralized in one parasitic service?

In the past two days I've mentioned two other sites that have launched for the Twitter crowd (or at least those that can appreciate Twitter as a utility). twit.io is sort of a craigslist for tweets, while Thingfo aims to create communities around events and things that are added to the site in a Twitter-like format (soon through Twitter itself).
