We haven't heard much from Helio since last fall, but the mobile service provider that's "not a cell phone company" is begining to incorporate more and more of the portal services that we witnessed all but taking over other wireless companies. Though Helio seems to be in deeper water than ever, the company has always provided a rather interactive mobile offering, appealing to a younger demographic as its user base.
The company is now partnering with Buzzd in order to bring users up-to-date information regarding night-life in their local region. This partnership more than reflects the type of user Helio is going after, as an all-out partnership means that Buzzd's features will be more prominent than they would otherwise be through its mobile offering.
