Popular online file hosting/sharing service box.net has embraced Scribd's iPaper format, which will now be used for previews of powerpoints, word files, excel spreadsheets, and PDFs on box.net without saving them to your computer. You know what this means? No more waiting 15 seconds for Acrobat to load every time you click on a PDF file. Sorry, Adobe, but this thing just works better.

Scribd has introduced iPaper several days ago, and we love it: it's a nice, simple way to share documents online. Box.net - through its online storage platform OpenBox - already offers users the ability to access their files on box.net through third party services.
