Photo-sharing service Jalbum is adding on a few new features for creating and sharing albums, with a more concentrated focus on community. As we've seen with some of Jalbum's recent releases, the growth for Jalbum has been rather reliant on the site's community-building and media-sharing tools. The new features are a testimony to continuing down this path for furthered growth and global expansion.

Today's announcement revolves around the additional customization options that Jalbum has included in album creation and sharing. So with more options for custom albums, and the ability to place these items just about anywhere across the web, Jalbum is looking to become more competitive with the likes of Slide and Photobucket, which recently layered in several customization upgrades as well.

On the other end of the spectrum, however, Jalbum is also looking to increase viewership to its site in the enhancement of its community-building tools. Becoming a more navigable site for browsing and sharing content adds value for web users seeking images and for Jalbum users seeking a well laid-out site for publishing their images.
