Last night’s post about GoDaddy pulling the plug on the controversial RateMyCop web site seemed to strike a chord with our readers.
While at this point it’s unclear if GoDaddy took the site down because it exceeded its bandwidth limits (as they claim) or because of opposition from police departments, many of you chimed in with comments about your own GoDaddy customer support horror stories. I found this at least somewhat surprising, considering that one of GoDaddy’s major selling points aside from racy Super Bowl commercials is its 24/7 live customer support.
Thus, I thought it would make an excellent poll question to see what our reader’s perceptions are of the popular domain registrar. Feel free to add more candid comments as well.
