I'm out here in Dallas, today, mingling and covering live the events from WordCamp Dallas 2008. Up first is the keynote from Matt Mullenweg, founder of Automattic, the publisher of WordPress.
Matt Mullenweg is best known as the founding developer of WordPress, the blogging software he guided from a handful of users to the most widely used open source blog tool. In late 2005 he left CNET to found Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com and Akismet.com. In his spare time he enjoys taking photographs and playing jazz.
The topic of the panel is the recent release of WordPress v2.5 and the roadmap ahead for future versions of WordPress.
