Mark Krynsky over at the Lifestream Blog found a script that does exactly all those things you see the “big boys” of lifestreaming do, but for your personal blog. You can see the script in action over at Michael’s personal site, Ivtrii.
It’s a pretty simple setup, and does mostly everything I’ve been working on custom coding for my personal site, where I’ve been de-emphasizing the content I create infrequently and emphasizing that which I do across the web. I’ve found that over the last year or so, updating my personal blog while writing for Mashable professionally has been an impossible dream at times, yet I still find time to Digg, participate in comment feeds on other blogs as well as converse on Twitter and elsewhere.
This script provides a perfect way to display (and even monetize) that content without resigning yourself to the conclusion that you’re “too busy to create content for your personal website.”
