Facebook Eyes World Domination, Now Available in Arabic and Hebrew

Now that Facebook is available in Arabic and Hebrew, the site boasts support for over 40 languages and suggests that over 60 more are in development.

According to Facebook's post on the matter, "Supporting different languages on the Web always entails many technical, cultural and linguistic issues, but right-to-left languages present extra challenges." Obviously the hard work has paid off and it's certainly a worthwhile effort given that Arabic is the official language of 20 plus different countries, and will give Facebook the opportunity to invade countries like Algeria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen. However, since the company's goal is "to make Facebook available in every language across the world," the hard work is far from over.
