Facebook and Twitter integration, of course, existed in previous versions of the browser. But now, Flock brings a couple of interesting new features; one of them is Twitter Search with a history (and easy access to trending topics), which means you can save and revisit all your previous Twitter searches. Furthermore, sharing stuff like photos, videos, links or text on Twitter or other networks such as MySpace or Facebook can be done by simple dragging from the content window to the sidebar. An important detail and a nice touch - Flock automatically shortens URLs when you share them on Twitter.

As far as Facebook goes, Flock now gives you Facebook Chat, right there in the browser; it looks exactly like standard Facebook chat, positioned at the bottom of the screen, but it's present everywhere you go (once you log into Facebook). Not only you can chat with your Facebook buddies outside of Facebook, you can also share videos, photos, links and text by simply dragging and dropping them into the chat. It's a really clever feature that should make new Flock a hit amongst Facebook lovers.

Finally, Flock now also doubles as a social syndication service; its new FlockCast feature allows you to update several social networks (again, MySpace, Bebo, Facebook, Twitter) at once.

Flock is getting better with each new iteration. As always, the amount of (social) information Flock throws at you may be overwhelming for some, and the way it's all organized in the browser may be slightly confusing, but if you're serious about social networking, the new Flock is definitely worth a try.
