A recent Adobe presentation reveals that the planned release date of Flash 10 beta for smartphones is somewhere between October 4th and 7th, which is when Adobe's MAX conference takes place. Android, Palm WebOS, Windows Mobile and Symbian devices are all mentioned in the presentation, but at least one large smartphone platform remains absent: iPhone OS.
While this is good news for most smartphone owners, the story of iPhone and Flash is not only developing excruciatingly slowly - it's starting to be downright painful. After all, we heard talks of iPhone getting full Flash support over a year ago, but it was never officially confirmed by both companies, which seem to be playing a special little game of hide and seek when it comes to this topic.
