Now, however, Chuck must prove that it can preform alongside the rest of the big boys and pull in higher ratings, should it want to keep on keeping on. How's that going to happen? With your help, of course, as the show is trying to tap into the viewing power of the online fan base that kept it alive with their Chuck Me Out website and complimentary Twitter account.

Chuck Me Out is dedicated to satisfying fan's cravings for everything extra related to Chuck. It's basically just a blog dressed up as a fan community, but the new site will be used to post news from the Chuck set, share videos from cast and crew, offer opportunities to win prizes, and give fans a place to congregate and chat about the show.

As proof of concept, right now you can visit the site to watch video messages from Chuck's co-creator Chris Fedak, and show stars Sarah Lancaser and Josh Gomez. There's also photos and videos from their appearance at Comic Con in San Diego this past weekend (see below), and they're pushing viewers to watch over 1 million streams online, keeping tally with a meter on the site.

Die-hard Chuck fans can register for an account, as we hear that the site will be integrating more interactive elements and contests into the experience over the next few weeks. Should you participate in the fan community, you'll have the chance compete in online challenges to earn points and prizes, which are likely predicated on how you spread the word about the show via your online networks.

We're not sure if Chuck Me Out can keep NBC from chucking the show out with the bath water next season, but we do think their attempt to engage with their online audience is quite refreshing. Plus, it certainly seems as if they're giving fans a way to fight for the life of show with their support of this new endeavor.
