NBC just officially launched Facebook Connect for all of NBC.com, with immediate rollouts also planned for NBC Universal sites like AccessHollywood.com and NBCOlympics.com (prior to the Vancouver Winter Olympics).
We've known that NBC has been clued into the potential of Facebook integration for some time now. Web sites for local NBC media, as well as BravoTV (remember the Housewives viewing party?), have already started experimenting with the alternate log in option, and earlier this week NBC opted to premier their new show on Facebook in lieu of using their own online video property, Hulu.
Basically the network's online properties have become 100% more social for visitors with just a click of the button. Now, you'll instantly notice the "Log in using Facebook" button at the top of NBC.com, and the idea is that you'll be able to seamlessly share your viewing experiences with your Facebook friends, quickly publish clips to Facebook, see what's popular amongst friends, and participate in more interactive streaming broadcasts like the upcoming Vancouver Winter Olympics.
