Now we're going to do it again. This month charity: water is running the Born in September campaign again, and for my 24th birthday on September 18th, I'll be asking my friends to visit the "MashaWell" page and give donations instead of gifts -$24, $240 or whatever amount you choose.
You can too: if you have a September birthday, sign up for the September campaign and ask your friends for donations through Twitter, Facebook and everywhere else, bringing clean water to people who don't have access to it.
This year charity: water founder Scott Harrison wants to beat the almost $1,000,000 raised last year, as he explains in the video below:

If you don't have a September birthday, you can still get involved: charity: water is extending its successful online efforts with the launch of my charity: water, a site where anyone can set up a profile, invite friends, start a fundraising campaign and be part of the movement to bring clean water to hundreds of thousands of people.
