Apple appears to have run out of iPads for shipping on launch day, but iPad buyers might have another option: A leaked image (above) from Best Buy appears to show that the retailer will stock iPads at 675 of its stores on Saturday, April 3.
Apple had already announced that iPads would be available at Best Buy, but few expected the sales to begin on launch day. If the image is real, it suggests a new mainstream approach to product launches by Apple. It might also go partway to explaining why Apple has already run out of iPads for delivery on launch day.
