Not only will the device's upgraded 5MP camera with LED video flash be able to shoot HD video; the device will include an all-new app for editing those vids on the fly.

iMovie for iPhone 4 will allow users to record, edit and share video directly from the iPhone. You'll be able to record clips directly into the video timeline or choose from previously shot clips and photos in the device's memory.

Moreover, music can be added to these movies. The app comes with a few tunes pre-installed, and users can choose to add more tracks from an iTunes library.

Videos can be rendered in 360p, 520p and 720p. Users can also choose to add geolocation data to their videos. The app will be available in the App Store for $4.99.

What do you think of this new capability? Can you see it being a useful tool for instant video?
