For those of you who didn't fork over $350 for the NFL Sunday Ticket To-Go, or if your favorite sport doesn't offer a decent mobile option, DirecTV has launched a Sports Bar Finder app for Android and iOS. The app uses the GPS in your iPhone or Android device to pinpoint your location and show the surrounding sports bars.
If you're thinking, "I can easily do this on Yelp or Google Places," you're right, but this app takes it a step further. It's capable of showing which sports are available at most of the bars it lists. You may still need to call the bar to check if your game is playing, but the app removes most of the guess work.
