Game developer Rovio announced Friday morning that its popular iPhone game, Angry Birds, is now available on Android — for free.
The game is available now through GetJar, but will also soon be available through the Android Market as well.
Rovio and GetJar are currently getting hammered, so getting your copy of Angry Birds might take some time. It can also be downloaded directly from your Android device by visiting m.getjar.com from your mobile browser.
Why is Angry Birds for Android free? Rovio says, "We want to make Angry Birds available for as many people as possible. Previously, many people were experiencing problems in finding Angry Birds on Android Market, but now everybody can download the game on their device."
