Is Apple's iPad a good fit for businesses? AT&T will soon find out.
The company announced Friday that it will sell iPads directly to business customers, together with post-paid mobile broadband price plans, starting Thursday, October 28.
That's the same date the iPad will come to both AT&T's and Verizon's retail stores.
"iPad is a great fit for our enterprise customers across a wide range of industries who are looking for ways to increase business productivity and offer greater flexibility. This new offer further strengthens AT&T's commitment to provide businesses with the tools they need to accelerate mobility-led productivity," said Michael Antieri, president of Advanced Enterprise Mobility Solutions at AT&T Business Solutions.
