Apple’s “Back to the Mac” Event: All the Announcements

Apple turned its focus away from mobile devices to the Mac at its "Back to the Mac" event in California today, unveiling several new products for desktop and laptop computer users. It also boasted of the Mac brand's market successes in recent financial quarters.

Arguably the biggest news of the event, the App Store for Mac will emulate the success of the App Store on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, offering developers a new way to reach customers, and helping Mac users find the best apps out there.
