Under this agreement, BlackBerry Messenger services can continue. India threatened to shut off BlackBerry services back in August because of RIM's refusal to allow law enforcement agencies access to encrypted data.
The ban was initially threatened to take place on August 31, however Indian authorities extended its evaluation process another 60 days.
The details of the agreement between India and RIM weren't revealed, but we imagine they're similar to the deal worked out between RIM and the United Arab Emirates last month.
