Every business has them: Monotonous, jumbled travesties during which at least one -- if not three or four -- employees ramble at length in order to stave off the crushing oppression of the remaining workday. Some of us doodle to get through them, some of us stress eat, some of us feign temporary deafness.
Well, ye tortured souls, there is some respite from the horror that is the conference call, and that would be Conference Call Bingo.
From the folks over at Logitech’s LifeSize comes a simple, yet fun web app that turns office monotony into a game.
Simply head over to the Bingo site and click "Start" when you dial in. You'll be presented with a board that features squares that contain common conference call occurrences: Someone eating, Someone working from home, the phrase "low-hanging fruit," you get the idea.
Click on the corresponding squares when one of your colleagues acts accordingly, and, as with normal Bingo, you'll rack up points for four in a row, a blacked-out board, etc. You can even share your score on Facebook so as to commiserate with friends (just make sure you're not friends with your boss).
