PlayStation minis are smaller games that can be downloaded to the PSP or PS3. The mini version of Angry Birds sounds like it will be similar to the versions of Angry Birds already available for iOS, Android and Symbian devices, complete with support for 63 levels of bird-flinging, block-busting, pig-smashing action.

Rovio, the company behind the chart-topping smartphone game, already confirmed that it was working on a console version of Angry Birds for Xbox 360, the Nintendo Wii and the PS3. The game has already eclipsed 50 million free and paid downloads, breaking through as one of the true cross-platform hits of the smartphone age.

The most recent addition to the main game, another set of levels and a new "Mighty Eagle" in-app purchase, continues to keep the game fresh. That, coupled with the insanely addictive nature of the game, keeps fans all over the world coming back for more.
