Samsung has announced that it has sold more than 10 million of its flagship Android smartphone, the Galaxy S, in just less than seven months.
Samsung's Android bet has paid off from the start; after an extensive marketing campaign, Samsung shipped more than 1 million Galaxy S smartphones in the U.S. within their first month on the market.
Now, Samsung can boast some really impressive numbers for the Galaxy S. Overall, Samsung sold 4 million units in North America, 2.5 million in Europe and more than 2 million in South Korea.
