"No Pants" Subway Flash Mob Rides Again [VIDEO]

In excess of 5,000 New Yorkers took to the underground sans pants in 2011's No Pants Subway Ride, the latest event in a 10-year tradition that never fails to leave us bemused and slightly grateful we weren't on the subway that day.

The annual No Pants Subway Ride is a production of Improv Everywhere, the pranksters behind such events as the guerilla handbell strikeforce, spontaneous musicals and the surprise wedding reception.

Footage of the pants-free sojourn tends to leak online and go viral well in advance of any official video release; this year, however, we've got the official No Pants Subway Ride video first.
