The anonymous intern was assigned to oversee Marc Jacobs's Twitter feed while the company searches for an official overseer of its social media accounts. Beginning last month, followers have been invited to send in clever tweets to nab interviews with the company's CEO, Robert Duffy.

Thus far, Duffy has been "presented… with 50 people," the intern tweeted, but is "not happy" with any of them.

The intern went on to tweet that Duffy is a "tyrant" and that @MarcJacobsIntl followers "have no idea how difficult Robert is. I am only an intern," he wrote. "My last day is tomorrow. I wouldn't be tweeting this if not!"

"Good luck! I pray for you all. If you get the job! I'm out of here. See ya! Don't want to be ya! Roberts a tyrant! Seriously! He is tough!" the intern continued.

"I can call him out! I'm out! Won't work in this town again! I know that! Learned a lot. But, I don't have the energy for what is expected!" said another tweet.

Before signing off, he wrote, "Yea, walk in my MJ shoes! Don't judge me! I'm alone in this office having to try and entertain you all. This isn't easy. I have tried. Done!"

Most of the tweets, which were sent from Twitter's official application for iPhone, were deleted by 4 a.m. Saturday morning, the Daily Mail reports. The company later tweeted a warning to "protect your passwords," and assured followers that "all is well here at MJ. Twitter is a crazy place."

As far as PR mishaps go, it was hardly a disaster. Given the amusing irreverence that has long marked the voice of Marc Jacobs's Twitter feed, the rant was, in fact, perfectly on brand. We can only hope the company's next Twitter overseer is as entertaining.
