Late Sunday evening, President Obama announced to the nation and the world that Osama Bin Laden had been killed and the United States was in possession of his body.
The announcement was livestreamed by The White House and on Facebook, following about 90 minutes of speculation and news reports about the Al Qaeda leader spreading wildly on the Web.
