MacBook Air Rumor Mill Predicts July Launch

There's a batch of rumors surrounding Apple's MacBook Air, and most of the predictions say the same thing: The new MacBook Air will sport Intel's low-power Sandy Bridge CPUs as well as the ultra-fast data transfer port Thunderbolt.

Contrary to earlier reports that said that the new Airs would be coming in late June, now we're hearing that the new MacBook Air will be coming in July (possibly July 19), and it will run the latest version of Apple's desktop OS, Mac OS X Lion.

The inclusion of Lion on the new Air is highly likely, since that version of the OS aims to bridge the gap between iOS and Mac OS X, and Air is the device best positioned to connect the worlds of desktop and mobile.
