Acer says it takes only 1.5 seconds for the Aspire S3 to wake up from sleep (6 seconds from deep sleep), and 2 more seconds for it to connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot, which makes it a perfect portable machine for people who don't like to waste time.
The rest of the specs include: a 13.3-inch, 1366 x 768 pixel LED display; a choice between low voltage Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 CPUs; a battery that should last 7 hours and a choice between SSD or HDD for storage.
