The site, which launches sales on a range of deeply discounted designer merchandise in the women, men, kids and home categories every day at 12 p.m. ET, has been shipping solely to U.S. customers since its launch in 2007. (The company also operates a separate site in Japan.)

The addition of international customers will make shopping on Gilt.com even more competitive. Currently, nearly 50% of merchandise sells out within the first few hours, the company says.

For a limited time, shipping will be free to international customers. After that period, international shipping will cost a flat $19.95. A full list of supported countries can be found here.
