8 Enormous Things That Are Smaller Than Apple, Inc. [INFOGRAPHIC]

Apple has been flirting with the title of "World's Most Valuable Company" for a good part of 2011. At a current market cap of about $370 billion (give or take an app), the tech giant's value is now greater than the revenues of some entire global industries.

That's a hard concept for us non-billionaires to wrap our enfeebled minds around.

Fortunately, data visualization company Visual.ly has put things into perspective for us with the handy infographic below.

Get ready to be amazed (and quite frankly, terrified) at how ginormous Apple, Inc. has become.

UPDATE: As many readers have pointed out, it should be noted that we are comparing Apple's valuation to other measures of concrete revenue. That's not to imply that Apple generates more revenue than certain global industries, but only to put a number like $370 billion into perspective.
