According to a story in The New York Times that ran on Tuesday, the product is "less than a blazing success" with "many" of the device's early users. The article, which compares the tablet to the Ford Edsel and New Coke, among other failed products, lists a few problems including the lack of external volume control, an on/off switch that's easy to hit by accident, slow-loading web pages, no privacy controls and a touch screen that's "frequently hesitant and sometimes downright balky."
