So far, "thin" has been the keyword for this year's CES. We've seen the world's thinnest tablet and ultrabook, and now Huawei has revealed an Android smarpthone that claims to be the world's slimmest.

Ascend P1 S, as the device is called, sports a 4.3-inch, 540 x 960 Super AMOLED screen, a dual-core 1.5 GHz CPU paired with a SGX 540 GPU, an 8-megapixel camera and 1 GB of RAM.

All of this is packed into a case that's only 6.68 mm thick, which makes it quite a bit thinner than the 7.1 mm Motorola Droid Razr.

This unusually thin profile takes its toll on the battery, which is a 1670 mAh model, but fear not: Huawei has also unveiled a nearly identical Ascent P1, which has a 1800 mAh battery, but pays for it with a slightly thicker, 7.69 mm profile.
