Microsoft announced the new operating system at the Windows Phone Summit on Wednesday in San Francisco. Microsoft announced there are more than 100,000 apps on the Windows Phone Marketplace.

The social games will be available for download on Windows Marketplace in the fall. Top games on the Windows Phone are Angry Birds, Battleship, Fruit Ninja and Final Fantasy.

Zynga released Words With Friends in July 2009. Mobile gamers went crazy for the Scrabble-like mobile crossword game. Words With Friends was the top iOS game by number of users until Draw Something's March 2012 debut broke its streak. It's available on iOS and Android devices, plus Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet.

Draw Something was developed by OMGPOP in 2012 and surpassed 50 million downloads in just 50 days. Zynga acquired Draw Something in March for $180 million. They are the first two Zynga games on the Windows Phone.
