'Arrested Development' Prepares to Start Production for Netflix

Marry me! Arrested Development will start shooting new episodes for Netflix in just four weeks.

Executive producer and show narrator Ron Howard tweeted some photos from the new writer's room and of some bonding time with show star Jason Bateman and show creator Mitchell Hurwitz.

Arrested Development ran on the Fox network from 2003 to 2006. Over the course of 53 glorious episodes, viewers were invited into the lives of the Bluth family. Despite low broadcast ratings, the show immediately developed a cult following online and off. In the six years following the show's cancellation, that fan base has only grown.

For the past several years, we've heard rumors of a movie or revived series. Netflix stepped up to the plate in November with a 10-episode commitment to a new season of the series.

At the NAB Show in April, cast members from the show joined Netflix's Ted Sarandos on stage to talk about the partnership, the show and the new distribution method. All 10 episodes of the new season will be released at the same time in 2013.

We can't wait to watch new episodes of Arrested Development preferably with club sauce. Share your Arrested Development excitement with us in the comments.
