Kim Dotcom Compares Himself to MLK in New Song [VIDEO]

Alleged copyright infringer and Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom compares himself to Dr. Martin Luther King in a new song, "Mr. President."

The German-accented Dotcom (nee Kim Schmitz) sings/raps over a Kraftwerk-esque track delivering an indictment of the current administration: "The war for the Internet has begun," Dotcom begins. "Hollywood is in control of politics. The government is killing innovation. Don't let them get away with that." Dotcom then mentions that "I have a dream, just like Dr. King" as a shot of MLK is displayed.

The chorus continues, "What about free speech, Mr. President? What happened to change, Mr. President? Are you pleading the Fifth, Mr. President?"

The song comes as Dotcom, who is currently in New Zealand and awaiting extradition to the United States on copyright infringement charges, is working on a new album.
