GoDaddy tried to win back its customers' spirits Wednesday morning, following its server outage Monday. The world's largest domain register dolled out one month credits to all of its customers for their accounts.

Customers received an email from CEO Scott Wagner (shown below) Wednesday morning, apologizing for the impact the outage could have had on their businesses.

"We owe you a big apology for the intermittent service outages we experienced on September 10 that may have impacted your website, your email and other Go Daddy services.

"We let you down and we know it. We take our responsibilities — and the trust you place in us — very seriously. I cannot express how sorry I am to those of you who were inconvenienced."

If you're someone who purchased your .com domain name from GoDaddy, at the current sale rate of $12.99, this adds up to roughly $1.
