The Maker Faire hit New York City over the weekend, featuring the latest technology in digital toys, gadgets and gizmos. A lap around Maker Faire will put you face-to-face with 3D-printed jewelry, flying contraptions, hacked circuits, robots powered by liquid and more.
"Maker Faire is one of the few places where people are encouraged to unleash their inner geek," says Michelle Lowman, acquisitions editor of Apress, whose booth encouraged kids (and adults) to make their own circuit pin with a battery, LED and some tape.
We hit the floor and took these amazing pics of kids exploring and playing with interactive toys. Oh, to be young again.
