R. Kelly's hip-hopera "Trapped in the Closet" will officially return in November with 20 new chapters. Ahead of the TV premiere of the series' chapter 23, though, IFC has debuted that flashback-inducing chapter online.
Chapter 23 will air on TV Nov. 23 while the remaining videos will appear each day only online thereafter.
"Trapped in the Closet" is a musical drama about sex and lies that began with a one-night stand and continued with a slew of new characters whose lives keep intertwining as new -- and often absurd -- revelations surface.
Twenty-two old chapters in the saga and character bios are available on IFC's website starting today. Those chapters gradually came out from 2005 to 2007 on an R. Kelly album, on MTV and on DVDs.
IFC will try to give the new chapters a boost online with the #Trapped Twitter hashtag and a Facebook page.
