But Vick's younger brother, Marcus -- who played college ball at Virginia Tech before being dismissed from the team in 2006 -- has his own set of opinions about the Eagles' ills and what Michael's next career move should be. Marcus took to Twitter while the Eagles were on their way to a 28-13 primetime pummeling at the hands of the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football to blast Michael's teammates and even request a trade out of Philadelphia for his brother.

"Please trade my brother. We requesting out of Philly!!!! Please please please......" Marcus tweeted according to multiple reports, although the message was later deleted. Other posts denigrated the Eagles' offensive line, which has been a major part of the team's woes and helped allow a number of crushing hits absorbed by Vick:

When told of Marcus' trade demand and critical tweets following the Monday Night Football blowout, Michael sounded surprised and offered an apology.

"He tweeted that during the game? I'm sorry. I'm unaware of that," he said, according to NFL.com. "That's something I'm really going to have to address once I leave here. We're out there fighting as hard as we can, giving it everything we've got, and that's certainly not the case. I love each and every guy in that locker room, and if I could make every play right I would. I know they would do the same, so that's certainly not the case."

Marcus then returned to Twitter to make an apology of his own on Tuesday afternoon:
