Evian's Melotweet App Turns Your Tweets Into a Musical Experience

If you've ever felt that Twitter would be better with a soundtrack, then Evian's Melotweet app is for you.

The iPad and Android tablet app shows your incoming stream of tweets as droplets (get it?) while ambient music plays in the background. As the tweets (visualized with the avatar of the Twitter profile) fall, you can drag objects from the left side of the screen to act as obstacles which emit a musical note. Each time a tweet touches that side, it sounds a note. In theory, you can use the tweets to compose your own tune.

Evian's stab at Twitter visualization and songification comes after the brand's 2009 "Roller Babies" video set a Guinness World Record for the most-viewed ad, though it did little for the brand's U.S. sales.
