Jesse Draper is creator and host of The Valley Girl Show, through which she's become a spokesperson for startups and helped pioneer the way of new media content distribution. Formerly a Nickelodeon star, Draper is now CEO of Valley Girl‚ where she oversees the show and runs technology blog Lalawag.com.

If you've been tuning into Bravo's Start-Ups: Silicon Valley, you may have heard one of the characters say he was a "serial entrepreneur," discussing his 42 side businesses. But most investors won't take these entrepreneurs seriously. Typically a "serial entrepreneur" in investor speak, means that you are an entrepreneur who can't focus.

But that's not the case with Jay Adelson, who's a different type of serial entrepreneur. He's one of the good guys who is seasoned and sees each company through to either an exit or some sort of completion.

A well-versed internet entrepreneur, Adelson has dabbled in everything from the birth of new media, to location-based services. He co-founded Equinix, Revision3 and Digg, and he served CEO of SimpleGeo (which has since been purchased by Urban Airship).

Now Adelson is on the lookout for his next big thing. So, how does he stay on top of what's hot? Jesse Draper finds out on this episode of The Valley Girl Show.
