Justin Timberlake Brings Sexy Back to Myspace [VIDEO]

Myspace is going musical, and it hopes Justin Timberlake's vocal cords will put some sexy back in the social network.

On Thursday, the pop-star revealed the new and improved site that now focuses on being a platform for artists and exposing music in a social way.

Timberlake announced his investment in the site last year. At the pinnacle of its success, Myspace was a $580 million company but went into free fall, after which Timberlake and partners Chris and Tim Vanderhook acquired it for only $35 million, Rolling Stone reports.

The new look leaves the site fresh and clean with an intuitive interface that includes a tinge of the unexpected -- users scroll from left to right rather than up to down. And instead of Liking, retweeting, adding, or friending, the new Myspace "connects."

The site also makes it easy to switch between full-screen videos and browsing friends' pages. The videos move to the right-hand bar and playback continues in smaller screens.

Timberlake said the previous features, mostly excessive user personalization, left the site seeming like "the Wild West." But for the relaunch, they focused on simplicity and bringing artists closer to the fans.

And if anyone knows fans and music, it's this guy.
