Sometimes ugly just isn't ugly enough, especially when it comes to sweaters -- and that's when you need the help of an app.
Mark Rober, creator of digitaldudz, is the pioneer of this hideous field -- and he has figured out just how awesomely obnoxious Christmas sweaters can get. Apparently, the key is using a hole-y sweater paired with a smartphone displaying animated graphics duct-taped inside.
Why didn't we think of that?
The free app [iTunes link] even provides print outs that can easily be transferred to existing sweaters using an iron (for the non-creative, cheap types) as well as the ability to create your own design and send it in to the app.
So at this year's office holiday party, put that nerd from HR with his reindeer-hugging-an-elf-dancing-on-snowflakes-sweater to shame. Wear something that lights up and freak them out as they wonder how your cotton pullover is managing such technological feats.
