Actress Megan Fox Joins Twitter and Tweets About 'Star Wars'

Less than 24 hours after joining Twitter, Transformers actress Megan Fox has confessed her love for Star Wars with hashtag #StarWarsNerd following a photo upload of an R2-D2 toy.

Fox entered Twitter's birdcage Thursday with a username she didn't want: "Every possible version of my name is already in use so for now my Twitter handle is [@MeganFox516]," she told her fans in a Facebook post announcing her new Twitter account.

On Friday, though, she secured @MeganFox and launched these tweets into the Twitterverse.

Is it cool or embarrassing to own a life size R2D2? It's cool right?...Right?! twitter.com/meganfox/statu…— Megan Fox (@meganfox) January 4, 2013

@jamesmsama he has working sound fx, lights and rotating head but sadly he isn't mobile & can't project the Leia hologram :( #StarWarsNerd— Megan Fox (@meganfox) January 4, 2013

Just hours before Fox joined, "RIP Megan Fox" was trending on Twitter. She put those rumors to bed with a tweet:

I'm incredibly late to the party but I'm here nonetheless, so what now?— Megan Fox (@meganfox) January 3, 2013

Fox, who has a featured role in the new film This is 40, has 85,000 followers as of Friday at 3 p.m. EST. Her second tweet was about A Bug's Life.
