'Thumbs and Ammo' Brilliantly Replaces Movie Guns With Happy Hand Gesture

A new blog is helping the world see that "real tough guys don't need guns, they just need a positive, can-do attitude."

Thumbs and Ammo, the Internet's most up-and-coming craze, takes iconic violent movie scenes and replaces firearms imagery with an encouraging and friendly hand gesture -- the ever withstanding thumbs-up. Because, really, what more can help defeat the bully, conquer the bad guy, destroy the enemy or help rob a bank than a simple sunny disposition.

One of the blog's creators tells Mashable that the site wasn't really created to send an anti-gun message. It began, instead, as a competition between friends to see who could Photoshop the funniest image.

Thanks to their challenge, the world is now a happier place because Sylvester Stallone's biggest asset against the adversary is a slightly larger opposing finger. Clearly these movie heros (and some villains) would be sheer terror to our thumbless ancestors.

The Internet's takeaway lesson for the day: Kill 'em with kindness.
